Wow Bob, I sure hate to hear that. Hope that you can find everything. I think that I turned my desktop off before I left home, sure hope so, hope that it hasn't done the update.

I'm on auto update but no update has happened you might want to scan for viruses with a strong program.

There are programs that will pull those files back out if you don't use the system much before running it.

I have recovered all my files from Norton backup  . I loaded everything onto 2 USB sticks which are identical files, so I have 2 copies and can get them back again if needed. I will just have to remember to add any new ones I make to the back up sticks.
