Another idea is to load a free program called Shrink Pic. It runs in the background unless you turn it off (taskbar one click), and automatically re-sizes the pictures when you email them. Works great, has little effect on quality (for viewing, not for turning into posters), and is a no brainer since it's automatic. It increased what number of pictures I can send in one email by 1/3 or more.

Ok I resized them. The bitmap file was set for 24x32 and done through Ipicture for a 12x16 board. Attachments:

It wouldn't let me load a bitmap file so I redid it as a jpg. there is room for a name above and below the image. Attachments:

The ones on the previous page are oak before they were finished, the next 2 are mdf. The mdf is approx.$1.50 for 12"x16" while the oak ia $5.00 The oak could be cheaper if I buy a lift, but it's random width which would mean a lot of glueing to make 12" boards. The last quote I had from a firm in Edmonton AB. was $1.58 a board foot for 4/4 *x 8' which was a year ago. So I pick the oak up at Home Hardware im Sherwood Park AB. they carry walnut, cherry, maple etc. all 4/4 random widths which means sorting for the right widths.

Bit size was 1/32. I haven't decided weather to use a router or a scroll saw to notch the outside of the rope. The bull aso needs some work it's a little out on the grayscale depth in places. Thats why I have a depth camera on order. I want to do an elk and mountain sheep (grayscale) in Jasper this summer. Here is an idea of how close you can get. Attachments:

Nice looking piece Greg, I take it with cut 2d it only cuts where there is image, instead of raster.

Yes Bob thats right, thats why I sent this pic to show the difference this cut took about as long as it took to setup the board in the machine 10 minutes max. Of course you can cut stuff all the way out too by using a sacrifice board under this board. Artcam will do this plus it will do the raster AND it will work with stl files but to make it easy you need to buy all those add on's. That pic also shows how you can use the stain and sand option although with this one I just ran it thrrough the planer a couple of times to knock off the stain. s146.photobucket.com/user/gregs_photo/profile/

Neat to be recognized for your products this way.
Of course leave it to the Navy (I did four years) to send you a picture of some guys arm taking a picture. LOL.
