This is a quick Getting Started document for new Express customers
Thank you for purchasing ArtCAM Express.
You should have received a package containing a Getting Started guide, install DVD and dongle security key.
You will also need your paf file (product authorization file) which could have either been emailed to you, provided on a disk, or perhaps on a USB memory stick (aka Jump Drive)
Basic Installing:
1. Insert the ArtCAM DVD and go through the setup wizard to install Express.
For more details, see Express – Installation.pdf
2. Copy the paf ****** file from your e-mail/disk/memory stick onto the computer desktop.
3. Plug the dongle into a USB port on your computer.
4. Double click on the ArtCAM Express icon to start Express.
5. A message appears which will install the paf for you. The message reads: Unable to locate (PAF) file. Do you want to browse for it? Choose Yes
6. Navigate to your Desktop and select the .paf you copied earlier. ArtCAM will automatically install the paf file for you.
7. ArtCAM Express should now open. Once you confirm it opens, you can delete the copied paf on the desktop, it is no longer needed.

6. On-line User Forum, forum.artcam.com/ with a special Express section (also a Verified User Section which you need a dongle number to register in order to gain access).
