-Just used this post processor last night with Vectrics cut2d program and it works fine.
When I first started using a post with this machine I found that even if you have the machine set to use inch you still have to use mm in the gee code.
the machine will read the inch code thinking it is metric and cut a small square about 1/4". Greg

email vectrics and ask for pp in inches and they will send it to you without any problem

That zip file has the inch code in it too, the I-carver will not work with inch code it reads it as metric and cuts a 1/4" cut and is done.

They have both inch code and mm code and each work as they should just tell them you have an oliver machine and they will send it to you.

These are their post files, I don't think you are reading what I am saying. I use inch in all my settings and I have my machine set to "inch". When I use the inch post the machine thinks the gee code is metric and cuts a small 1/4" square and quits. It only reads in metric. Greg

Try opening the G-code file with I-picture so it can check it then save it as a .gee code file. And make sure you use a metric post. Greg

Ok it appears gullyfoyle has found an error in the programming in the post processors. It should be an easy fix but I want to test cut some scrap and see if it's right then I will delete the first zip file and re upload the new one. Greg

These were the latest two, inch in previous post, as of 3/13/13. I'm not sure if there is a newer version. Attachments:

No the metric file works fine for me so I use it, those two have the same code as my first two. The numbers 1.2 and 1.3 are wrong from the directions I read.

Since my machine was built where they use the metric system, I am not gonna ask it to do in inches, hell of a lot easier for me to do the conversion, LOL
