I have been ordering this bit from Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015C61XX4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and here lately these bits from my last few orders have been dull from the start, with all kinds of fuzzies at the edge of the cut. I am wondering now if these are now rejects or slightly used bits being sold as new and I won't be ordering these again.
I did find these from another seller: www.amazon.com/SpeTool-Tapered-inches-Engraver-Carving/dp/B0778F6KP8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 The difference between the two is night and day. I am currently on my 4th carve with this bit and it shows no sign of being dull. I ordered 1 bit just to try it out and so far so good.
I just wanted to put this out here in case any of you were wondering if something else was wrong with your machine , your design or the wood from using the bits from Jerray CNC .
