Those look like they could do the job, in the past I had bought some that were very small like 1 inch diameter and 1/4 inch thick and they did not last at all. I do have one other idea that I seen on another wood work forum that I am going to give a try. That method is to wave a propane torch ever so lightly over the carving areas to burn off the fuzzies. It sounds like a promising idea but one would need to be careful not to linger in an area and end up burning the wood. I am going to test that out here in a couple of days.
