Like the idiot I am, I lost the paperwork that showed where I bought the R32 bits the last time. I know I got a good price and they were good quality. Just wondering where everyone is getting their bits from now.

I have been getting my bits from Amazon.com. Was using SYTOOL but something happened with them and they disappeared. Now I am using JERRAY. SYTOOL's seem to have been the better bit at a lower price.

Poppy, it appears that Sytool is the chinese manufacturer and they are now selling through Jerray on Amazon. Do you know what part number you're getting? I need the R.08 or 1/32 size, what I'm seeing on Amazon appears to be mostly 1.0mm on the head where I'm taking for granted the .08 is the desired size. Been too long since I bought any of these, once again I'm confused.

Amana Tool or Tools Today are the only vendor I have found that sells the 1/32" bit, Tools Today sells the bits made by Amana Tool.
The 1.0 mm bit you describe is 3/64" which is 1/64 of an inch larger than 1/32" according to mm to fractional inch converter.

Been too long since I bought any of these, once again I'm confused. The last one I got:
JERRAY CNC Carving 4.82 Deg Tapered Angle Ball Tip radius=0.5mm X 1/4" Shank tungsten Solid Carbide HRC55 with TiAIN Coated Router Bits
5.0 out of 5 stars 12 customer reviews Price: $29.99
Sale: $22.99 Free Shipping for Prime Members
You Save: $7.00 (23%)
In the past I sometime ordered the .75mm but not sure if JERRAY offers it now, which I think would be closest to the 1/32" (0.762mm). Will try to look at sytool & JERRAY's offerings more sometime today. They may be the same as what I got from sytool (not sure). The sytool seemed to last longer and lower priced.

Thanks everyone, I ended up getting a couple from Amana Tools just to move things along since I've used them in the past. I believe that my last order for the 1/50 R0.5 was also from Jerray since that price is about what I remember paying, I bought three of them at the same time to have enough $$$ to get free shipping from Amazon.
I was not impressed by the life that I got off the Jerray ones, I put a brand new bit in prior to cutting into a walnut board and got a log of the fuzzies when the bit was lifting up a side of the carving, all fuzzies on the same side when the bit was going up and not down. Wasn't enough to cause me any worry though, given it was half the cost of the Amana ones.

Considering it was a holiday weekend, I was impressed to receive the bits today after ordering them on Friday. I bought the Amana 46280 which I've used before, from Tools Today. Expensive, but quick.
