I've had my 1013 for about month and I love it does exact what is supposed to do!
My my questions is: I know the motor is sealed and maintenance free, as to rest of the machine it does kick out a lot of fine dust which is probably getting into the mechanicals. Is there a maintenance routine to be followed other than keeping it clean. The manuel refers to lubrication but to do that it seems the panels need to come off? Is this warranty issue?
i have done about a dozen carvings .... Should I just leave it alone?
Any advise or tips will be t

I would not see the need to open up anything on the machine. Just good clean up of dust per carve and maybe using light air to blow out around the limit switches. Keep in mind that any lubrication should just be a very light lubricant, and lightly applied. Dust will accumulate on oiled surfaces and stick

My machine is about 3.5 years old, and I don't lubricate anything. I had to replace the spindle motor two years ago, and at that time I lightly oiled the shaft overhung load roller bearing but it probably didn't need it.
