Hi. Just bought the Intellicarve 1013, and using Cut2D from Vectric. I have an issue with the feed rate, no matter if i change the feed rate in Cut2D Intellicarve still runs with same speed??
Any suggestions?
I have downloaded and installed the Post Processor for Intellicarve.
Best Regards Jan, Denmark

What setting for speed did you put in cut2d? I think I used 10 instead 100.

I tried to put in 1 mm/min... the minimum i can put in, but it still runs at same fast speed... Will using Mach3 make any difference, or is that program only for connecting directly to a computer?

If you don't want a warranty you could, I actually thought about doing it to mine but then decided I like it better just going outside and plugging in the usb and let it rip.
If you make shallow cuts you should be ok with most speed anyway, did you put F250 in your code as well?
the 1013 has two different gear ratios the y track under the table is faster than the ball screws so it's never going to slow down as much as the other two, make sure you select the slow setting when you setup the cut on the machine.

Hi Greg. Thanks for writing. Im not sure how to put in F250 in the post processor code. Could anyone do that to a code for me and send it? Would really really appriciacte it. Thanks in advance.

The weird thing about the machine is, that when it moves in X+Y axis at the same time, it runs at slow speed, just the speed im looking for. When it runs in Y axis alone, it goes fast... even if i chose low speed in the built in menu...

Here is a post I made on this topic in another thread although I think I need to play around with it more by changing the numbers to see if I can get a real difference.
Here is the post I modded to slow down the y on my 1013 I also set my speed at 10 in cut2d and the cut is slow enough for me to do plenty of work.

To change the feed rate you need to play around with the feed rate setting in the post file.

I just went back and looked at my setting in cut2d and it was .250 not 10 like I said in a post plus you have to have the pp file setup for [feedrate]
