I had experienced a problem with a stuttering in the retract mode of my table. The problem occurred during a cut, when suddenly the Y movement came to a dead stop while the X & Y continued on. The programming screen showed that the Y movement was continuing on as it was supposed to, but the table didn't move. So I paused and ended the cut since the piece would no longer come out right, and then started manually moving the table back and forth using the programming screen. The table extended from home position correctly all the way, on the retract movement there was what can best be described as a very loud gear grinding sound, the table moved slowly until about half way retracted then took off and moved smoothly with the loud sound disappearing for the rest of the retraction. I ran the table in and out several times, always with the same results. Thinking the table had been binding, I loosened the three outside nuts on one side of the table that hold down the table retaining bar, thinking that any binding at the fully extended end would be lessened. It did no good. So today I took the table off completely, and thought I'd show those of you who may be interested what is under there, the first picture shows which screws I removed, the second shows what is under the table. This third picture is a close up of the limit switches, and the fourth is the railing on the home side of the table that had some build up of sawdust in it. I wiped everything down, and am running a test piece now that apparently is working perfectly. We'll see if it makes it all the way through to the end this time, so far it's cutting great on fast speed with a new bit. Happy to report that it finished the new cut without problem, and the finished cut seems better than before. Attachments:

You can remove the table without removing the side rails by taking out 1 of the screws at the end of the gear track, and just sliding it out towards the end you took the screw out of. Being as the tolerance of fit to the rails has to be so close any accumulation of debris could put it in a bind.

There is 1 on each end and they serve as a stop, you only have to take out the one in the direction you wish to slide the table out.
